  • Proven experience in accounting, financial operations, and credit risk analysis across financial institutions and international companies.
  • Hands-on experience in bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Strong background in credit evaluation, portfolio monitoring, KYC/KYB processes, and fraud prevention.
  • Proficient in financial tools including QuickBooks, Excel, Alloy, Marqetta, and LexisNexis, with experience operating in compliance-driven environments.
  • Advanced English proficiency and strong analytical and organizational capabilities.

Prior to Acerta Consulting

  • Talk2Interactive / Finally: Worked in risk and credit assessment and accounting functions, supporting credit validation, portfolio monitoring, KYC/KYB processes, fraud prevention, reconciliations, and financial reporting using platforms such as QuickBooks and Xero.
  • Banca Solidaria / Promipyme (Dominican Republic): Served as Business Officer, managing loan placement, portfolio administration, collections, client acquisition, and financial advisory for microentrepreneurs.
  • Peralta Santos & Asocs (Dominican Republic): Accounting Analyst responsible for full-cycle accounting, treasury management, and statutory tax reporting (606, 607, 608, ITBIS, IR17, IR-2)

Credentials

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Universidad O&M (Dominican Republic).
  • Specialized training in banking management, credit analysis, taxation, and financial management through various diploma programs and courses.
  • Advanced Excel training and additional coursework in tax reporting, leadership, and financial operations.
